Is there any difference in functionality of the software whe.. Im considering the hitherto unthinkable: switching from Vuescan to Silverfast. I just want some opinions from users of Silverfast. Background: Ive been pretty satisfied with Vuescan the last few years. But one scenario in particular exposes a problem I keep having trying to export totally flat, l I use VueScan - it takes some time to get up to speed with it, and the user interface can be a bit intimidating, but it supports nearly every scanner there is, and can deliver very consistent good results. A detail to be aware of: Silverfast is licensed per scanner - so if you ever get a second scanner, you need a second license of Silverfast.
