Batchable vs Future vs Queueable Apex in salesforce Explained. Batchable Apex :-If it is a long running complex process then you should go for Batchable Apex and you can have an option to schedule the batch to run at customized time. Future Apex is used to run processes in a separate thread, at a later time when system resources become available. Note: Technically, you use the @future annotation to identify methods that run asynchronously. However, because "methods identified with the @future annotation" is laborious, they are commonly referred to as "future methods" and that’s how we’ll reference them for the No more than 50 methods with Future annotation can be called in a single apex invocation. Maximum 250000 invocation is allowed per rolling 24-hours or number of licenses multiplied by 200 whichever is the greatest is the limit of the invocation. *Low margins are a double edged sword, as lower margins mean you have higher leverage and therefore higher risk. Future methods execute asynchronously i.e. one does not need to wait for a response. The thing to keep in mind is, a future method can have native calls, as well as, they can make a call out to an external web service and hence, in order to enable the future method to allow callouts, an extra parameter “Callout=true” needs to be passed.
